Introduction

The Jim Pattison Auto Group is seeking an energetic, reliable, and organized Lot Attendant to be the pillar of support for our Campus Honda dealership. As a supporting role for our Sales department, you’ll play a key part in ensuring that our vehicles are well presented to our customers.

Schedule : This is a Full-time role of 40 hours per week. The regularly scheduled hours will be - Monday 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with Wednesday off.

Pay Range : $18.00 per hour, depending on experience

This role reports to the Sales Manager of the dealership.

- Maintain and monitor the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of all vehicle inventory, including exterior washing and interior cleaning
- Ensure vehicles are displayed in a way that creates a positive first impression for customers
- Maneuver, arrange, and relocate inventory and guest vehicles with care
- Capture clear, appealing photos of pre-owned vehicle inventory and assist with posting them online
- Ensure any potential issues with vehicles or the dealership property are promptly reported
- Safe use of tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies
- Ensure a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer information




- Participate in maintaining a supportive and engaging working environment
- Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

- A valid BC Driver’s license is required, including a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract report
- Previous experience in the automotive industry is considered a strong asset
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions is preferred
- Strong customer-service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- This is a physically active role and requires the following:
- Frequent walking throughout the dealership building and lot
- Walking and/or standing for long periods
- Frequent operation of automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Washing vehicles, which may include use of various cleaning products and frequent bending, crouching, and reaching
- Significant time spent outdoors in various weather, including sun, rain, wind, snow, cold, and heat. Weather conditions are monitored for safety as needed
