Engage and inspire children aged 5-12 as a Summer Camp Counsellor. Create a secure environment while leading fun activities that promote growth and lasting memories.
In this role, you will join a dedicated team to oversee a group of campers, planning and executing age-appropriate games and crafts. You'll provide guidance while building relationships and resolving conflicts among peers. Effective communication with parents is key, as well as upholding safety protocols and emergency procedures for a successful camp experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee a group of children aged 5-12
• Plan and lead engaging games and activities
• Support relationship-building and conflict resolution
• Communicate updates with parents and guardians
• Maintain a positive and inclusive camp environment
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Experience working with children and youth
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Criminal Record Check and other clearances required
