Senior Program Manager (Secret-Cleared) – Security Project

Location: Ottawa, ON (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Duration: Contract
Hours: 37.5 hours/week + potential overtime
Pay Rate: $100-110/hour INC

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead a large-scale security-focused initiative within a Federal Government environment. This role requires a highly experienced leader with a robust background in enterprise program delivery, stakeholder engagement, and security-focused projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful execution of complex, high-impact programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end program delivery for large-scale enterprise security initiatives
- Manage program scope, timelines, budget, risks, and dependencies
- Engage with executive-level stakeholders and external partners
- Drive alignment across cross-functional teams and ensure successful delivery outcomes
- Oversee program governance, reporting, and performance tracking




- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with federal standards and requirements
- Ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization

Must-Have Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience as an IT Program Manager on large-scale enterprise projects
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Canadian Citizenship (required for clearance eligibility)
- Robust customer-facing experience , including presenting to executive stakeholders and working with external partners

Nice to Have

- Previous Federal Government experience (e.g., SANA or similar environments)
- Experience managing security-focused programs or projects

Compensation

- $140/hour (INC)
- 37.5 hours per week with potential for overtime
