Associate Director, CUSO Operational Risk Governance Will support operational risk activities for CUSO (Combined U.S. Operations) pertaining to governance, senior management reporting, engagement with regulators and internal audit, driving integrated operational risk management, and supporting first‑line of defense activities for the CUSO GRM Operational Risk organization.

Responsibilities

Lead all governance activities relating to CUSO Operational Risk Committee, such as scheduling committee meetings, preparing meeting agendas, managing forward agendas and action item lists, preparing and distributing meeting minutes, and managing mandate updates.

Prepare high‑quality operational risk reporting for senior management and action all reporting asks in a timely manner.

Act as key point of contact for regulators and internal audit, gathering documentation requests in support of examinations and other related matters.

Facilitate communications, meetings and additional information requests through examinations between examiners and senior and executive management.

Assist in driving integrated operational risk management activities for CUSO, partnering with internal stakeholders and regional leads as required.

Act as key point of contact to support all first‑line of defense operational risk activities for the CUSO GRM Operational Risk organization, partnering with internal stakeholders as required.

Assist with other operational risk activities or initiatives, as required.

Qualifications (Must have)

5+ years in Operational Risk, Risk Management, Finance or related field in a financial services setting.





Solid analytical skills and ability to grasp and summarize complex concepts into clear recommendations quickly.

Highly organized, able to prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.

Superior written and oral presentation skills; ability to create executive level presentations.

Ability to negotiate and influence outcomes and manage large stakeholder groups toward required outcomes.

Ability to communicate with senior management.

Tolerance for ambiguity, good judgement, and the ability to engender trust.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice‑to‑Have)

Knowledgeable about U.S. regulations for financial institutions.

Team player, solutions‑oriented and collaborative.

Sound computer skills, able to adapt and apply new technologies (e.g., Tableau).

Emotional intelligence, patience, and a calm demeanor.
