Project Manager – Civil Roads Infrastructure Location: Greater Toronto Area As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating multiple heavy civil construction projects from award through completion. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards, acting as the key point of contact for owners, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Execution: Manage multiple civil road and infrastructure projects; coordinate site activities with the Superintendent; assist in selection, negotiation, and management of subcontractors; coordinate subcontractor work and supplier deliveries. Scheduling, Cost & Contracts: Develop and maintain critical path schedules using Microsoft Project or Primavera; prepare and manage contracts, change orders, claims, and extensions of time; review cost reports; approve invoices and subcontractor payments; ensure monthly progressbilling. Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as liaison with project owners, consultants, authorities; manage correspondence and clear communication; negotiate extra work, claims, and changes. Quality, Safety & Compliance:
Coordinate quality control testing; work with Safety Manager on site safety; ensure deliverables anddocumentation are submitted on time; comply with OHSA.Technical & Project Support: Coordinate design requirements; support engineering aspects; assist with majorsite activities and construction planning; ensure compliancewith MTO and municipal specifications and standards. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience managing heavy civil construction projects. Robust experience with MTO and municipal road construction projects. Solid understanding of MTO and OPS specifications and policies. Degree in Civil Engineering, C.E.T., or equivalent (P.Eng. considered an asset). Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera). Strong understanding of cost control, project financials, and reporting. Working knowledge of OHSA, WHMIS, and Book 7 traffic control. Understanding of asphalt, aggregate, and concrete testing procedures. Experience with claims management and dispute resolution. Knowledge of formwork, falsework, and shoring is an asset. #J-18808-Ljbffr
