Accountabilities

Architect and lead the design of distributed systems for processing and analyzing vulnerability data at enterprise scale

Drive technical strategy for storage, processing pipelines, and microservices‑based vulnerability management systems

Mentor and grow senior engineers, establishing engineering excellence and best practices in distributed systems and performance optimization

Lead architectural decision‑making and enforce standards for observability, fault tolerance, and scalability

Own the end‑to‑end user journey for both security teams and developers, translating complex technical capabilities into intuitive experiences

Collaborate with Product Management, UX, and cross‑functional teams to integrate security functionality seamlessly across the platform





Oversee incident response for availability, performance, and security‑related issues, ensuring high reliability of customer‑facing systems

Requirements

10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years leading distributed systems at scale

Deep expertise in high‑throughput, low‑latency systems, polyglot persistence, and complex data models

Hands‑on experience with stream processing frameworks, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud‑native observability stacks

Strong understanding of application security, vulnerability assessment, static analysis, or dependency scanning

Proven track record of leading large engineering teams (40+ engineers) and transforming engineering culture

Excellent technical communication skills and ability to align stakeholders on architectural decisions

Experience with system architecture for large‑scale data processing, automated remediation workflows, and enterprise‑grade security systems

Startup or high‑growth company experience is a plus
