Responsibilities

- Drive business growth by supporting the Business Development team with client engagement, proposal development, and order placement.
- Work with the Business Development team to develop a plan to proactively identify new clients, engage with new and existing clients, and develop new opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team,



and stakeholders from all EDS service pillars, to create a value proposition based on client need and EllisDon’s portfolio.
- Support Business Development activities such as presentations, emails, and video conferencing.
- Ensure active client engagement.
- Be accountable for all aspects of proposal management and RFP submissions. When appropriate, create a proposal that meets or exceeds the client’s expectations and meets EllisDon’s thresholds for margin and capabilities.
- Develop and actively track a sales pipeline in the CRM, with monthly reporting to management summarizing revenue-generating activities.
- Support the Director of Business Development to develop the short- and long-term strategy for business growth across all Energy & Digital Services.
- Ensure CRM includes up-to-date data to ensure accurate records.
- Meetings with internal stakeholders to report on pursuits.

Qualifications

- The salary range for this position is $57,000 - $67,000
- Five years of professional work experience in managing proposals, inside sales, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of business/sales experience.
- Technology sales experience is a must.
- Project management skills are an asset.
- Strong process skills involving the efficient scheduling, coordination,



and execution of complex proposals under challenging timelines.
- Robust writing and proofreading skills. You pay particular attention to content with regards to copy writing, editing, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Word and PowerPoint). Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM is an asset.
