We are seeking an Azure Production Support professional to manage and support critical production systems in a cloud environment. This role involves monitoring system performance, resolving incidents, and ensuring high availability and reliability while working closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Azure cloud, production support, and scripting, along with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and automation.

This will be day one on-site on Hybrid with 3 days onsite from Downtown, Montreal. Ideally the candidate should be local to Montreal and also in a commutable distance.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee, diagnose, and resolve production issues and service interruptions.
- Maintain system stability, uptime, and performance by applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
- Automate repetitive tasks and enhance cloud infrastructure within the Azure workplace.
- Review logs, metrics, and alerts to proactively identify and prevent potential issues.
- Work closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to address and resolve incidents.
- Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines, along with monitoring and observability frameworks.
- Administer Azure services, including virtual machines, Kubernetes (AKS), storage,



and networking components.
- Participate in on-call support rotations to handle critical production incidents.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) or MCA
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills & Experience

- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics)
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or Ansible
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or Datadog
- Familiarity with incident management frameworks (ITIL), SRE practices, and root cause analysis
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
- Understanding of networking and security concepts, including load balancers, firewalls, IAM, and VPNs
- Experience working with large-scale distributed systems
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Understanding of cloud-native architecture
