Our client, a mid size manufacturer of custom power transformers, is looking to hire an experienced test engineer. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning managing and evaluating results of transformer testing.ResponsibilitiesWork with customers, engineering and sales teams to identify testing requirements for each recent transformer designDevelop test plans and identify necessary equipment for transformer testingDevelop internal processes to efficiently carry out transformer testingOversee the work of test technicians performing transformer testing, providing guidance, support and training as required.Stay current with advancements in transformer testing standards and technologies.Experience / Skills RequiredBachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical engineering or related field.PEng would be an asset.Min 3-5 year’s experience in the manufacture and / or testing of power transformers.Solid understanding and working experience with ANSI, IEC and IEEE testing standards.This is an in person position.
