We are seeking an SAP Manager for an exciting permanent full time position. This person will manage the day-to-day operations (as well as projects, enhancements, customizations etc.) of a 12+ person team. Relocation to Toronto is available for the right candidate. The successful candidate will lead teams responsible for SAP platform support (SAP HR HCM, SuccessFactors, Workforce etc across connected technologies, while also contributing to the organization’s broader modernization journey toward S/4HANA. This position requires a practical leader who understands the real technical work behind the systems being managed and can drive results across support, enhancements, upgrades, issue resolution, and operational improvement. What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Lead operational delivery and support for SAP HR related products and services. Oversee and drive resolution of production incidents, service requests, system issues, performance concerns, technical escalations, platform upgrades and support changes Ensure reliable, efficient, and reliable support of SAP systems and related applications. Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, project teams, and senior leadership to coordinate issue resolution and service delivery. Provide leadership on support processes, prioritization, accountability, and team performance. Support technical improvement initiatives and help enforce SAP best practices.
Contribute to the transition from ECC to S/4HANA by helping ensure strong operational readiness and disciplined future‑state practices. Support audit and control‑related activities, including finance application controls, security awareness, and segregation of duties considerations. Help prevent the replication of legacy process or technical issues into the future‑state SAP landscape. What You Bring:
Significant experience working in SAP environments, including HR systems and services. Broad experience/management in SAP HCM/HR/SF technology. Demonstrated experience leading SAP technical or application support teams. Strong experience in operational support leadership, not only project delivery. Practical understanding of SAP enterprise support models and technical delivery. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and management. Proven ability to drive accountability, ownership, and results in a support environment. What Success Looks Like:
