Toronto, ON, Canada Job Description We’re looking for an Analyst, Loan Portfolio Administration to join our Investments team. Job Summary The Analyst, Loan Portfolio Administration is responsible for servicing and overseeing the company’s Construction and Commercial loan portfolio using the Precision LM system. This role supports the Investments team by ensuring accurate loan administration, robust internal controls, and effective portfolio reporting, contributing to strategic objectives and risk management. The Analyst will collaborate across business lines, drive process improvements, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities Perform end-to-end servicing and oversight of Construction and Commercial loans, ensuring all activities in Precision LM are executed accurately and in line with strategic objectives. Manage the full loan lifecycle, including pipeline tracking, funding, disbursements, billing, collections, amendments, and discharge, while investigating and resolving any discrepancies. Lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of Precision LM, continuously improving policies and procedures to enhance workflow efficiency and productivity. Maintain rigorous data accuracy and document trails for all loan activities, supporting audit readiness and compliance requirements. Generate, validate, and analyze complex portfolio reports and data extracts, proactively identifying and resolving inconsistencies to support decision-making. Act as the primary liaison with external Precision LM vendors, coordinating application support, troubleshooting, and adoption of best practices.
Direct and govern month‑end reconciliation of loan portfolios against Servicer reporting, driving resolution of variances and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Develop and implement proactive portfolio oversight strategies, leveraging data‑driven insights to maximize returns, minimize credit exposure, and support risk mitigation. Ensure strict adherence to company procedures, governance frameworks, and regulatory standards, completing all required training and certifications on schedule. Foster a collaborative team environment, actively participating in discussions, sharing expertise, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the Investments team. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field. Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in loan administration, portfolio management, or a related financial services role. Robust analytical and problem‑solving skills. Expertise in loan administration systems (Precision LM preferred). Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Deep understanding of construction and commercial lending operations. Solid grasp of risk management and regulatory compliance. Proactive approach to process improvement and operational efficiency. Team‑oriented mindset with a collaborative work style. High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
