Role Overview Our client is seeking a technically inclined

Inside Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Specialist

who is passionate about solving customer challenges, educating clients, and supporting confident decision-making.

This is an inside sales position with a strong focus on solution engineering. It is best suited for someone who enjoys consultative selling, engaging in technical discussions, and guiding customers toward the most suitable solution for their specific processes.

This is not a transactional or price-driven role. It is centered around value-based, solution-oriented selling built on trust, technical understanding, and consistent follow-through.

The Opportunity This role operates at the intersection of sales, engineering support, and process understanding. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with customers, representatives, and channel partners to identify application needs, provide technical guidance, and translate requirements into effective, high-value solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Represent the full value proposition of the client's mixing solutions to customers and channel partners

Engage in consultative, education-focused selling rather than price-based transactions

Analyze customer processes, operating environments, and technical requirements to recommend the most suitable solutions and clearly explain the rationale behind them

Configure and select appropriate mixer solutions based on customer needs and internal training

Work closely with Application and Design Engineering teams to develop practical and efficient solutions

Prepare accurate quotations, proposals,



and follow-ups with a high level of responsiveness

Manage the full inside sales cycle from inquiry to quotation, follow-up, and order handoff

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, representatives, and internal stakeholders

Ensure explicit, structured communication and proper documentation within CRM and ERP systems

Support seamless coordination between sales, engineering, and manufacturing to deliver a strong customer experience

What Success Looks Like

Customers feel informed, confident, and well-supported throughout the process

OEM and channel partners rely on and repeatedly engage with your support

Quotations and technical recommendations are accurate, timely, and aligned with client requirements

The company is viewed as a trusted technical advisor rather than just a supplier

Internal teams receive clear, actionable information that supports efficient execution

Opportunities progress effectively through consistent communication, follow-up, and attention to detail

Requirements

Strong commitment to structured communication and attention to detail

1–3 years of experience in a similar sales or technical sales role

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal and customer relationship management abilities

Ability to interpret customer specifications and translate them into accurate technical solutions and quotations

Familiarity with RFQs, tenders, and technical quotation processes

A technical background is preferred

Proven experience working with CRM and ERP systems, with a focus on detailed documentation

*Must have permanent eligibility to work in Canada.

Preferred Background

Experience in industrial, mechanical, chemical process, or technical manufacturing environments

Experience with engineered-to-order or application-based products

Background in mechanical, industrial, or process-related fields is highly advantageous

Demonstrated ability to grow accounts and increase revenue through relationship management
