The Canadian subsidiary of Biocodex was created in 2013. The subsidiary has grown in scale and now requires a Brand Manager who is passionate about unlocking consumer insights to memorably communicate our brand’s distinct proposition.

Passionate about creating meaningful connections with customers and consumers, the Brand Manager will help support the development and execution of the strategy and consumer engagement to achieve our vision of becoming a Microbiota leader. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, thrive in a digital environment, and be a strong team player. The role consists of 4-5 travel trips per year mainly across Canada, with some trips to the US and likely 1 trip to France.

The Brand Manager will be responsible for assisting with accelerating the growth of our flagship brand, Florastor. This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and will be an integral part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and implementation of the annual integrated marketing plan to define strategic objectives, key initiatives and financial targets
- Develop and execute omnichannel campaigns targeting consumers, patients and HCPs
- Develop and lead strategies to influence & engage with consumers, target healthcare professionals
- Develop and execute digital marketing initiatives across channels, SEO, paid advertising, social media and website optimization
- Track and report on campaign performance including recommendations for next steps and opportunities
- Develop marketing & sales aid/promotional material to support our retailers in partnership with the Commercial Manager
- Continuously monitor market landscape, competitive activities and stakeholder behaviors, and implement appropriate measures to maintain brand competitiveness.
- Champion a customer-centric approach in all brand strategies implementations, enriching overall user/HCP experience.
- Partner with account sales team and the Commercial Manager to develop distribution, shelving, and promotion strategies.
- Trade show support, development and execution (Pharmacy conferences, CHFA and others)
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Finance, RA, Forecasting, Supply), sales teams (Retail & HCP), key opinion leaders and external agencies.
- Manage brand budget and drive efficiencies to maximize ROI
- Lead agency team in equity development of advertising/PR campaigns to support launch, digital, social and HCP marketing initiatives
- Supports a high-performance culture that instills integrity, creativity, teamwork, respect, insight, innovation, and excellence throughout the marketing organization

Qualifications:

- 3+ years related FMCG/CPG marketing experience and demonstrated results in brand management
- Business acumen,



with a knack for turning data into insights and recommendations
- Structured and organized in managing projects and timelines
- Creativity and problem-solving
- Digitally savvy
- Detail-oriented and ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Scrappy and enthusiastic proactive problem solver with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Have a strong proficiency in using data analytics to drive marketing strategies and evaluate performance
- Have proficiency in Nielsen or IQVIA, Google analytics
- Are detail-oriented and ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Full fluency in French and English (written and spoken) due to interactions with global teams in France, US colleagues, and French/English customers and external partners.

This position will report to the Head of Marketing

The office is located in Montréal, Québec, Canada

This is a permanent, full-time role.

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Commerce, Marketing, Business), preferably MBA / MSc in Business/Marketing

The office is open and available for all, Monday through Friday. We ask all team members to be in the office for a minimum of 2 days (including Wednesday) to build a collaborative and positive environment.
