As a Senior Project Manager, you will operate with significant latitude to lead end-to-end delivery for the Chief Security Office. This role is not merely about tracking tasks; it is about providing expert-level business consulting and project management rigor. You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle—including requirement gathering, design, construction, testing, and closure—while ensuring all work aligns with the Enterprise Project Delivery Framework. You will be expected to analyze complex data sets to keep management informed and take proactive corrective actions to mitigate risks before they impact the project’s success.

Responsibilities

- End-to-End Delivery: Outline project goals, terms of reference, and resource requirements; build and manage comprehensive project schedules.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to the Enterprise Project Delivery Framework and maintain a balance between budget, time, and risk.
- Strategic Collaboration: Represent business interests while collaborating with technology SMEs to ensure the delivery of high-quality work packages.
- Risk Mitigation:



Proactively identify deviations from project plans and recommend decisive corrective actions to keep milestones on track.
- Communication & Influence: Chair project meetings, build consensus among diverse stakeholders, and communicate complex status updates to executive audiences.
- Mentorship: Coach and mentor project team members, fostering an inclusive environment and a shared vision for project success.

Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience managing end-to-end business projects with significant technology components, specifically within a Financial Institution.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven track record delivering transformation projects and a deep understanding of security governance.
- Education: University degree or college diploma in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- Certification: PMP designation or a formal Project Management certification is considered a strong asset.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills; the ability to translate technical requirements into actionable business deliverables.
- Analytical Ability: Strong capacity to analyze detailed concepts and quickly resolve complex project issues.
