Cloud Technical Architect

Infosys is seeking an experienced Cloud Technical Architect with a strong background in Cloud and Data Center Operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, designing and providing DevOps solutions, and monitoring large-scale applications.

Required Qualifications

- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, ON or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty will be considered in lieu of every year of education.
- Authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer-based visa sponsorship. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
- At least 7 years of experience in the software/IT industry, with a focus on production support and cloud operations.
- Experience deploying microservices and AWS resources using Kubernetes clusters and tools such as ArgoCD, Helm, Rancher, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Orchestrating seamless deployment from development to production in a CI/CD pipeline, ensuring consistency and efficiency across environments.
- Implementing tagging standards to track resource usage by team, project, or environment.
- Monitoring memory usage, eviction count, and hit/miss ratio via Redis metrics.
- Using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform to automate AWS resource provisioning.
- Leading technical discussions during post‑mortem reviews for customer‑impacting incidents,



focusing on corrective actions and collaboration with development teams.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services including EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, Route53, Elastic Load Balancers, AMIs, IAM Roles, OpsWorks, CloudFormation, Prometheus Monitoring, alerts, and Grafana dashboards.
- Utilizing Rancher for Kubernetes orchestration and management, and conducting continuous integration and continuous deployment for applications.
- Positive knowledge of Helm charts to manage and onboard applications on Kubernetes.
- Experience creating AWS EC2 instances, Lambda, Kafka, API Gateway, and strong troubleshooting and configuration management skills with the Chef framework.
- Leading Scrum teams and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to provide timely, accurate, and detailed responses to business partners and end customers.
- Working knowledge of Bitbucket, Confluence, ServiceNow, Jira, Terraform, ARM templates, and TFS/DevOps.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. The candidate should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face‑to‑face. Extensive travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Estimated Annual Compensation (Ontario)

$99,431 to $123,375.
