Our Halifax office is excited to welcome an
Associate Lawyer
to our growing
Wills & Estates
practice group. In this role, you will work closely with clients on a diverse range of matters, from drafting wills and trusts to handling probate and estate litigation. You will handle a full spectrum of wills and estates law matters and gain exposure to sophisticated or high‑value estates, wealth transfers, and complex multi‑generational planning involving trusts and tax planning. Providing legal guidance and advice on estate planning matters,
including wills, powers of attorney, and personal directives. Providing legal guidance and advice on probate and administration of estates. Maintaining excellent communication with clients, support staff, and colleagues. Other duties as required. Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 3+ years of wills and estates law experience. Brings a compassionate, client‑centered approach to the practice of Wills and Estates. Strong analytical and legal writing abilities. Demonstrated excellent client service and communication skills. Strong research and writing skills and demonstrated ability to navigate complex issues. Proven effective client and practice management skills. Self‑motivated and can work independently but also values working collaboratively. Application Process
