About the Engagement Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer (Maximo) to support the Enterprise Work Management System (EWMS) Program and vendor teams. This role involves configuring and developing IBM Maximo application suite for work management implementations within the City's technology ecosystem. The successful candidate will design, configure, and integrate Maximo solutions, ensuring high-quality delivery across all phases of the development lifecycle.
Scope
Develop, configure, upgrade, test, implement, release, and document Maximo application components.
Create IBM BIRT reports and Cognos dashboards using Maximo.
Collaborate with end-users, analysts, and PMs to define requirements and solution designs.
Work closely with technical teams to launch new features and ensure quality assurance.
Build integrations with SAP, Salesforce, GIS, and other systems using RESTful APIs and related technologies.
Configure and develop Maximo systems per divisional requirements.
Conduct unit testing and promote code through SIT/QA for UAT.
Prepare test plans, cases, and documentation.
Track issues, defects, and dependencies within large projects.
Must Have
15+ years of experience in full lifecycle work and asset management using IBM Maximo MASx, Maximo Mobile, and Maximo 7.6.x.
10+ years of experience in Maximo application configuration and development.
2+ years of experience in Maximo Mobile app design and implementation.
Strong experience with Maximo Business Objects, Web Beans (Java), automation scripts (Jython/Python), and integrations using APIs.
Proficiency in Visual Studio.Net or Eclipse, version control systems (Git), and building workflows, reports, and queries.
Nice to Have
Experience with municipal government projects.
Familiarity with large‑scale Maximo implementations, migrations, and upgrades.
Security Clearance Required.
