As an L3 Support Engineer, you will work with an array of technologies including Kernel, Ceph, OpenStack, and Kubernetes. Your role will involve resolving complex customer issues, maintaining relationships with key engineering teams, and participating in upstream communities.
Key Responsibilities: • Resolve complex issues related to Ubuntu and open source software • Work closely with field, support,
and product engineers • Create bug fixes and backport patches for upstream • Review code and contribute to engineering discussions • Communicate clearly with technical teams and customers
Requirements: • Solid academic background in STEM or Computer Science • Proficiency in Linux and open source software • Experience with Python, Go, C, or C++ • Willingness to learn new technologies thoroughly • Ability to travel for team events up to 4 times per year
