Working as a dedicated member of the Payroll team, you will focus exclusively on payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely pay for our restaurant and corporate teams across Canada and the U.S. This role is hands‑on with payroll systems and compliance, requiring expertise in payroll legislation, employee data management, and customer service for managers and team members.

Key Responsibilities

- Process biweekly payrolls for hourly and salaried team members across Canadian and U.S. locations
- Handle off‑cycle payrolls, garnishments, and benefit deductions
- Maintain accurate employee data (new hires, terminations, job changes)
- Reconcile payroll accounts and assist with month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end reporting
- Prepare and submit ROEs, T4s, RL1s, W‑2s, and annual returns
- Prepare and submit accurate WCB payroll reports
- Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and state payroll laws
- Respond to payroll inquiries promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with Human Resources and Finance teams and support continuous process improvements

What You Bring





- 3+ years of payroll experience (multi-location preferred)
- Canadian and U.S. payroll experience preferred
- PCP designation or in progress required
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation and best practices
- Experience with payroll/HRIS platforms (Dayforce preferred) Strong Microsoft Excel, especially the ability to use VLOOKUP to merge datasets and perform data matching.
- Detail-oriented and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven workplace

- This position requires in office work in Richmond, BC office
- Occasional overtime
