Position Overview

As a Tax Manager in our Domestic Tax team, you will work with a wide variety of clients, collaborating with colleagues across Assurance, Advisory, and Specialty Tax to deliver personalized solutions. You will coach and mentor a team of tax professionals, establish deep client relationships, prepare files for corporate reorganizations, manage T2 and T3 returns, and proactively resolve tax‑related issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Coach and mentor tax colleagues on compliance and tax planning.
- Establish and maintain trusting client relationships.
- Prepare files for corporate reorganizations, rollovers, windups, amalgamations, succession, and estate planning, and manage corporate tax returns including T2 and T3.
- Proactively resolve tax‑related issues with clients and team members.
- Lead management of the tax practice, identifying and developing new service opportunities.





Required Qualifications

- Enrolled in, or completed, the CPA Canada In‑Depth Tax Course, or possess a Master of Taxation degree.
- Strong experience in corporate and personal Canadian tax planning and/or compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualized tax solutions.
- Experience mentoring and developing others.

Compensation

Current salary range for this role is $80,000–$125,400 in Kamloops, with adjustments for other locations.
