In this pivotal role, you’ll work directly with the Chief Administrative Officer and senior leadership team to address municipal challenges and strategic priorities. Your robust emotional intelligence and HR expertise will be essential for guiding collaborative efforts across departments, as well as engaging with elected officials and community stakeholders. This position is a unique blend of executive advisory and operational responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer strategic coordination to the CAO and leadership team • Implement and monitor the Town’s strategic initiatives • Build bridges with regional municipalities and Indigenous communities • Prepare briefing documents and strategic reports • Oversee the organizational HR functions and initiatives
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field • Experience in senior roles or as Chief of Staff • HR certification is advantageous • Comprehensive knowledge of municipal governance • Solid written and verbal communication skills
