This position offers the opportunity to provide site-based engineering support while reporting to Mine Planning supervision. You will engage in essential activities such as conducting regular inspections, collaborating with various engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your contributions will help foster sustainable mining practices that prioritize worker safety and environmental stewardship.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support mine design and planning activities on-site
• Collaborate with teams for practical mine planning




• Conduct underground inspections and report findings
• Analyze operational data for performance monitoring
• Participate in safety and hazard assessments
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Mining Engineering or similar
• Eligible for Engineer in Training (EIT) registration
• Understanding of underground mining methods
• Competency in mine design software and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work underground in FIFO conditions
Contribute to effective operations by applying engineering principles in a remote mining environment, fostering safety and innovation.
