The Manager, Creative at Walmart Canada is responsible for developing and delivering high-quality creative solutions to support brand vision and customer experience. This role involves leading and mentoring a team, collaborating with internal and external partners, and ensuring consistency in brand communication across various platforms.
What You’ll Do
Oversee the creation and execution of diverse projects, from daily deliverables to large-scale campaigns
Design and apply brand aesthetics, develop strategic creative concepts, and maintain design consistency
Collaborate with external partners for photography direction
Manage design for print signage, weekly flyer, and omni-channel campaign executions
Stay updated on current design trends and agile methodologies
Develop visual identities from concept through to final execution
Attend pre-production meetings and photoshoots, approve press proofs, and attend signage walkthroughs
Prepare and distribute project components within required timeframes
Contribute to customer satisfaction goals by advocating for the customer and providing insights to project strategies
Lead and present creative solutions, update brand guidelines, and maintain design templates
Inspire, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of continual learning and diversity of thought
Manage the analysis of competitive advertising activity and the work of external agencies
Qualifications
College diploma or university degree in an arts program
8–10 years of relevant experience
Advanced design skills and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Ability to leverage AI tools for creative development; Figma skills an asset
Portfolio of creative work is required — applicants will not be considered without one
Salary:
$91,900 – $126,390 per year, based on relevant experience.
