Due to our ongoing organic growth, we are currently seeking a qualified permanent full‑time Technical Solutions Specialist (ADIA Lead) to join our Sales, Proposals and Contracts team in Calgary, Alberta.
The role requires interaction with staff in a fast‑paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager during Advanced Diagnostic pre‑bid reviews.
Work with Sales to define solutions for qualified opportunities and develop competitive bid strategies.
Provide the proposed scope of services that meet client needs and align with ROSEN capabilities.
Support the sales team by conducting risk assessments to minimize technical solution risk.
Act as SME to discuss additional scope and efforts with operational processes where required.
Serve as the primary client contact for all assets and inquiries.
Attend and engage in meetings related to sales strategy.
Support tender creation by producing scopes of work and reviewing contract requirements.
Determine the best‑suited products and services to fulfill project demands and expectations.
Consider the client’s working history, assets, and resources related to the project.
Lead and support Draft Project Budget preparation ensuring competitive market pricing.
Interact with operational processes for clarifications when necessary.
Negotiate technical solutions with operational processes.
Forecast operational cost, timing, and risks associated with proposed solutions.
Support proposal and contract documentation related to technical aspects.
Review contracts prior to formalization and proposal.
Stay up to date with ROSEN product and services portfolios, including new technologies.
Update related information in ROSEN databases and filing systems.
Highlight unsolved conflict issues to the Sales Manager that may impact technical risk.
Collaborate with the team and engage other managers for clarifications if required.
Cooperate with Legal Leads on legal matters.
Cooperate with Commercial Leads on commercial matters.
Requirements
Professional Engineer registered with APEGA; Bachelor’s Degree in Technical or related field.
5–10 years of complex solution proposal creation/contract administration and/or subcontracting experience.
Robust teamwork skills as SME for solutions and risk management.
Analytical problem‑solving and quick decision skills.
Proven client interaction as lead SME on highly complex ILI solutions.
Sound technical knowledge and experience with ROSEN projects and portfolio is beneficial.
Commercial and legal knowledge is a plus.
Good knowledge of the organization’s structure and understanding of ROSEN roles and functions.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power‑BI).
Highly organized, flexible, and maintains extreme confidentiality.
Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
Self‑starter able to complete projects with limited supervision.
Legally eligible to work in Canada.
Physical Demands
Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
