In this role, your primary focus will be on the Canadian Environmental Protection Act and the Chemicals Management Plan. You’ll analyze regulatory changes and draft key documents that aid member interactions and strategic decision-making. With a cooperative approach, you’ll engage with various stakeholders and help navigate shifts in priorities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze policy developments related to CEPA and CMP
• Review and summarize consultations and proposals
• Draft policy updates and briefing notes for members
• Engage in discussions with regulators and stakeholders
• Administer member surveys to gather insights
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in regulatory affairs or science
• At least 3 years of experience in public policy
• Excellent writing and editing capabilities
• Familiarity with stakeholder processes
• Strong analytical abilities and judgment skills
