The client is seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses to join their growing team. They provide in-home care to families in the Edmonton and Calgary regions, ensuring they receive the support they need during this special time.
Examples of Expected Duties
- Provide postpartum nursing care to mothers and newborns in their homes
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and educate families on newborn care, breastfeeding, and maternal recovery
- Assist with feeding, bathing, and diapering newborns
- Offer emotional support and guidance to current parents
- Document care provided and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers
We are looking for a Registered Nurse who:
- Possesses a valid Alberta RN license and good clinical judgment
- Multiple years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in public health or working with postpartum families.
- Demonstrates excellent assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Is a team player with a high degree of compassion and empathy
- Is reliable, organized, and self-motivated
- Has a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
