The salary range for this position is $112,500.00 - $150,000.00. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

What the day will look like

Analyze client specific risk exposure and details coverage requirements

Prepare and present marketing proposals for renewals and new business

Develop, negotiate and manage all aspects of coverage including review and placement.

Negotiate with underwriters to establish the best terms and conditions with respect to premiums and coverage





Follow up with insurer to confirm terms of negotiated contract are met

Approve documentation for new contracts, policy changes, additions, deletions and renewals

Establish contacts and cultivate relationships within the underwriting community

Participate in client and prospect meetings

Collaborate with clients to develop coverage strategy and marketing initiatives for renewal and prospective business

Collaborate with sales producers to support growth strategies and specific prospecting activities

Collaborate to build national initiatives

Build productive working relationships with peers and higher-level professionals internally and externally to exchange information and make recommendations

Other related duties as required

How this opportunity is different Our new colleague will be working alongside experienced team of colleagues with a diverse set of backgrounds, ranging from account management, broking, claims advocacy, risk engineering and specialty brokers to bring the best of Aon to our clients. As part of our Skilled Services Group (PSG) within Aon, you will help empower results for our clients. You will do this within an industry-leading team by delivering innovative and effective solutions. As a Senior Vice President Broker, you will report to the PSG Broking Leader.





Skills and experience that will lead to success

9+ years of Insurance background and knowledge is required

Experience placing large construction risks, particularly project-specific policies would be an asset

Broker licensed is an asset

Strong skills in both written and verbal communications to be able to make an impact and influence with the client and the insurance company
