As the

VP, People Business Partners & Talent Development , your role is to ensure our human and high performing culture is embedded in everything we do, throughout the end‑to‑end employee experience. You will operationalize culture, strengthen it, and oversee the People Business Partner (PBP) team and the Learning & Development (L&D;) team.

You will act as the architect of our talent density strategy, ensuring every department has the strategic talent partnership it needs to scale, and each "Clion" has a world‑class learning ecosystem. You will report directly to the Chief People Officer and serve as a key advisor to our executive leadership team.

What Your Team Does:

People Business Partner (PBP) Team:

Acts as the strategic engine for our business units. Partners with leaders on workforce planning, org design, and high‑level talent strategy to optimize teams for growth, and collaborates across people disciplines to ensure programs reflect Clio’s Human and High‑Performing culture.

Learning & Development (L&D;) Team:

Designs and delivers the Clio learning experience, owning everything from world‑class onboarding and leadership development to technical upskilling, ensuring "growing at Clio" is a tangible reality for every employee.

What You’ll Work On:

Integrating Talent & Growth: Unify PBP and L&D; functions so performance gaps identified by PBPs are addressed by targeted, agile learning interventions.

Executive Succession & Org Design: Lead strategy for identifying, developing, and transitioning top leadership talent to meet the needs of a global SaaS company.

The Future of Learning & Talent Development: Oversee transition to an AI‑augmented learning workplace, personalizing growth paths for Clions at scale.

High‑Performance Management: Refine performance management philosophy toward continuous feedback and transparent career mobility.

Global Scaling: Ensure people strategy remains cohesive across time zones, cultures,



and legal jurisdictions.

What You Bring:

10+ years of People Leadership with deep experience in both Business Partner and Learning/Talent Development.

SaaS Savvy: Understanding of ARR, Churn, LTV and how talent strategy impacts those metrics.

Change Management Mastery: Proven track record leading large‑scale organizational shifts, including M&A; integrations or major re‑orgs.

Executive Presence: Ability to influence, challenge, and support a high‑velocity executive team.

Product Mindset: Experience building internal people programs with the same rigor and iteration as customer‑facing software products.

Bias for action and fostering high‑performing teams.

Compensation & Benefits: Expected salary range: $209,400 to $299,200 to $389,000 CAD (region‑specific bands). Eligible for variable pay based on company performance, paid quarterly.
