HR Support Administrator plays a key frontline role within the HR Shared Services Center, supporting employees across North America and Canada. This position is responsible for handling a high volume of HR and payroll‑related inquiries through phone, ServiceNow case management, and email, while delivering timely, accurate, and customer‑focused service aligned with established SLAs and KPIs. The Administrator provides guidance on policies, benefits, payroll, and HR systems, supports benefit enrollment and employee self‑service tools, maintains accurate employee records, and collaborates closely with HR colleagues and subject matter experts to resolve or elevate complex issues. This role requires sound judgment when handling sensitive matters, solid attention to data accuracy, and a commitment to safeguarding confidentiality, while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and adapting to evolving technologies within a fast‑paced HRSC environment. This is a six‑month, fully onsite contract (five days per week) with a strong possibility of extension, based in Saskatoon or Calgary.
Required Skills:
- Diploma, Associate Degree, or equivalent education or experience
- 1+ year of HR Support Services or administrative experience preferred
- High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy under tight timelines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer‑centric mindset
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including potential overtime or weekends during peak periods
Other Skills:
- Experience using case management systems; ServiceNow is an asset
- Experience with SAP, SuccessFactors, or HR master data systems considered an asset
- Knowledge of Canadian and/or U.S. HR data, business rules, and legislative requirements
- Understanding of state/provincial payroll regulations
- Experience responding to employee inquiries via phone and email in a high‑volume environment
- Ability to navigate and support HR systems such as SuccessFactors (myHR), Employee Self Service, Emp Center, EZ Labor, Workforce, and third‑party platforms (e.g., Equifax)
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify, investigate, and elevate complex issues appropriately
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven team environment
- Collaborative, solution‑oriented approach with the ability to build effective working relationships
- Commitment to continuous learning and process improvement
