This is a pivotal role for an operational leader who thrives in a fast‑paced workplace and wants to play a key part in scaling a business that serves the world’s most iconic food brands.
The Role
As the Production Manager, you will oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are hit.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily production flow, adjusting priorities in real‑time to meet delivery timelines and optimize material/labor usage.
- Hands‑on Leadership: Provide daily guidance to the floor team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork.
- Lean Transformation: Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste, optimize processes, and reinforce operational discipline.
- Quality & Food Safety: Maintain strict compliance with GMP and HACCP programs, partnering with QA to ensure total product integrity.
- Strategic Support: Assist in a major ERP implementation and collaborate cross‑functionally with Supply Chain, Planning, and Maintenance teams.
Who You Are
The ideal candidate enjoys being on the production floor and possesses the following:
- Industry Experience: 6–7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically within Food Manufacturing or CPG
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep familiarity with food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, etc.).
- The Lean Mindset: Proven experience or strong interest in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Education: Post‑secondary degree in Operations Management, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Systems Savvy: Experience working with (or implementing) ERP systems is a significant asset.
- Leadership Style: You are a strong communicator who can lead through change and maintain a disciplined, high‑output environment.
