Position DescriptionThis role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time. Your future duties and responsibilitiesSupport the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts for web, mobile, and/or enterprise applications Assist in maintaining and enhancing test automation frameworks under guidance from senior team members Execute manual test cases where required and help transition suitable scenarios into automation Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives Log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools, ensuring clear documentation and reproducibility Validate application functionality across multiple environments, browsers, devices, or configurations Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria Contribute to test status reporting, highlighting progress, risks, and blockers in a timely manner Follow established testing standards, processes, and best practices while continuously seeking improvement Learn and apply secure, accessible, and performance-aware testing principles as part of quality delivery Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 0–3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance Foundational knowledge of software testing concepts, including test cases, test plans, and defect lifecycle Basic understanding or hands-on exposure to test automation tools or frameworks (e.G., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.) Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar)
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Strong written and verbal communication skills Eagerness to learn, take feedback constructively, and grow within a collaborative team environment Compensation: A reasonable estimate of the current range is $55,000–$105,000.
