Senior Business Systems Analyst

Contract Opportunity | Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)

Duration: April 1, 2026 to September 1, 2026

Rate: $80 to $90 per hour based on experience

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically solid Business Systems Analyst to bridge business needs with modern data and AI driven solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business analysis, data platforms, and emerging AI technologies, with a strong focus on Microsoft Copilot and collaboration tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
- Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions using cloud and data technologies
- Design and support data workflows and pipelines using Python, SQL, and Azure services
- Build and optimize data solutions using Azure Databricks
- Develop dashboards, reports, and insights to support business decision making
- Leverage AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to automate workflows, reporting, and processes
- Create effective prompts and prompt engineering strategies for business use cases
- Integrate AI capabilities within Microsoft Teams and collaboration platforms
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation
- Support system testing, validation, and deployment activities
- Maintain clear documentation for systems, processes, and AI workflows

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
- 7 to 10 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role
- Strong hands on experience with:




- Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation
- SQL including advanced querying and data modeling
- Microsoft Azure services such as Data Factory and Synapse
- Azure Databricks including data engineering and Spark
- Experience working with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or similar platforms
- Knowledge of prompt engineering and AI assisted workflows
- Experience integrating tools within Microsoft Teams
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have

- Experience with machine learning or AI model integration
- Familiarity with Power BI or other visualization tools
- Understanding of data governance and security practices
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
- Knowledge of APIs and system integrations
