Overview We are seeking a motivated third-year Electrical Engineering student to support electrical design and engineering activities on mining projects. In this role, you will assist with electrical calculations, design documentation, and technical coordination, gaining hands‑on exposure to power distribution systems, substations, and industrial electrical infrastructure. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and project teams, contributing to drawings, equipment specifications, power system studies, and data analysis in a collaborative, learning‑focused environment. Your role Assist with electrical engineering calculations and basic design tasks Support the preparation of electrical drawings, including single‑line diagrams and power distribution layouts Contribute to electrical design and distribution plans for mining projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements Assist with substation design tasks, including layout support and documentation Help prepare equipment specifications and support the purchasing process for electrical equipment Support project teams by organizing technical documents, reviewing mining plans, and participating in design coordination activities About You Completed third‑year Electrical Engineering (B.A.Sc.) with specialization in power electronics, power distribution, and motor drives,



with a strong academic foundation in electrical energy systems and sustainable power Completed coursework in power distribution systems, power electronics, electric motor drives, fields and waves (power transmission), and linear control systems Performed power system studies using ETAP and PSCAD, including load flow, short‑circuit, and transient analysis through academic and project‑based work Programming and analytical skills in Python, C/C++, MATLAB Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with strong technical documentation, reporting, and data presentation skills Bilingual communication skills: fluent in English and French, able to communicate effectively in professional, technical, and collaborative engineering environments (written and verbal) Rewards & benefits We offer competitive compensation, employee recognition, flexible advantages, opportunities for training and professional development, a hybrid working culture, and generous time‑off policies.
