Role Description
This is a full time, on-site role for an Administrative Assistant located in Burnaby, BC. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day administrative tasks, including managing schedules, handling clerical duties, maintaining organized records, and providing support to executives as needed. The role also includes answering phone calls professionally, assisting with communication, and ensuring efficient office operations while delivering excellent customer service.
Compensation ranging from $27-$32 dollars/hour based on experience with a competitive medical and dental package.
Qualifications
- Strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills to support day-to-day office operations and ensure organized workflows
- Proficiency in Executive Administrative Assistance to manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and provide high-level support
- Excellent Communication and Phone Etiquette skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with office software and tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, scheduling software)
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail
- Previous experience in the fire safety industry, administrative or clerical roles is highly advantageous
