HOMEOWNER EXPERIENCE & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT MANAGER
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Homeowner Experience & Community Engagement Manager to support a portfolio of residential projects across Vancouver Island, including Sooke, Esquimalt, and Victoria, while leading community-building initiatives for our Oakwoods residents.
As an award-winning real estate developer with over 39 years of experience, we have proudly delivered more than 7,500 luxury homes, earning a solid reputation for quality, craftsmanship, and exceptional customer care. This role is integral to maintaining that reputation—both through seamless homeowner support and by fostering a vibrant, connected community experience.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a unique dual-role position combining homeowner care with community engagement. You will serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the possession and warranty period, while also creating and delivering meaningful experiences that enhance the lifestyle and sense of community within Oakwoods.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Homeowner Experience
- Act as the main liaison between homeowners, construction teams, and internal departments
- Manage homeowner communications from pre-possession through warranty periods
- Coordinate and oversee service and deficiency repairs
- Conduct homeowner orientations, walkthroughs, and follow-ups
- Track and manage service requests and ensure timely resolution
- Ensure compliance with warranty requirements and timelines
Community Engagement (Oakwoods Residents)
- Plan, develop, and execute community events and programming for Oakwoods homeowners
- Create initiatives that foster connection, engagement,
and long-term resident satisfaction
- Manage communications related to events, updates, and community initiatives
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to enhance the Oakwoods brand experience
- Gather feedback from residents to continuously improve programming and engagement
- Build relationships with local vendors and partners to support events and experiences
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 3–5+ years of experience in customer service in property management, or residential construction
- Experience in event planning, community engagement, or customer experience programs is a strong asset
- Strong knowledge of residential construction and warranty processes (BC experience preferred)
- Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Creative, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between project sites
COMPENSATION
- $75,000 – $90,000 annually, based on experience
