SALARY: The hourly rate for this role is $20.65/hour

SHIFT: Day shift - Monday - Friday: 7am to 3pm.

ROLE DURATION: May – August

LOCATION: Alexander Keith's Brewery

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Follow all company safety guidelines and actively contribute to ongoing safety program improvements.
- Conduct quality control activities, ensure quality assurance standards are met, and support continuous enhancement of the quality program.
- Execute brewing operations according to the production schedule across all brewing processes.
- Interact confidently with visitors, customers, and other external stakeholders by maintaining a solid understanding of safety, quality, brewing processes, product knowledge and brand history.
- Troubleshoot production issues by identifying root causes, implementing solutions, and documenting resolutions. This may involve performing maintenance repairs, coordinating third- party service providers, researching repairs using manuals or technical support resources, and sourcing spare parts.
- Perform physical material handling tasks, including:
- Handling brewing materials (e.g.,



specialty malts, hops) up to 25 kg;
- Moving empty and full kegs (full 58 L kegs weigh approximately 62 kg);
- Operating manual keg cleaning and filling systems;
- Manually palletizing and depalletizing packaging materials such as glass bottles, cans, and growlers.
- Navigate “ship’s ladder” access points and work within confined spaces when required .
- Complete computer-based data entry, contribute to the creation of brewery procedures, and participate in ongoing document revisions.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Comfortable and confident speaking in public.
- Strong problem solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Ability to learn quickly, whether independently or under guidance from subject matter experts.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely, efficiently, and collaboratively within a team and independently.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Willingness and enthusiasm to perform maintenance tasks of varying complexity.
