Project Geologist

Homeland Uranium is a US-Focused uranium explorer and developer that has ownership of strategic properties in Colorado known to contain historical uranium and vanadium resources. Our mission is to develop into the premiere US uranium company by growing our resource base through brownfields exploration success and strategic acquisitions.

Homeland Uranium is looking for a Full time Project Geologist. Reporting directly to the VP of Exploration, the Project Geologist will work closely with other geological team members and provide on-site management of the Company’s field programs, including oversight of logistics, drilling activities, core and chip logging, QA/QC procedures, sample flow, health and safety protocols, permit compliance, and cost tracking.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist in planning and execution of field programs. This will include logistical planning, targeting, permitting, developing Standard Operating Procedures, and program budgets.
- Provide on-site management of the Company’s field programs, including, but not limited to, oversight of core logging, QA/QC procedures, sample flow, health and safety protocols, permit compliance, and cost tracking.
- Interpret and model geological data using Leapfrog and other relevant software.




- Apply geological interpretations and models to support real-time planning and execution of drilling programs.
- Compile data and prepare written and oral presentations summarizing program results.
- Other duties as required by the VP Exploration.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Geology/Earth Sciences.
- Background in GIS and 3D software programs such as QGIS, Leapfrog, MX Deposit, and Geosoft.
- Ability to work in a team environment based on mentoring and relationship-building.
- Experience in field-based collection and interpretation of geological and structural data.
- Five to ten years’ experience with three to five years’ experience in field-based supervision of drill programs, including, but not limited to, oversight of real-time data collection and interpretation, QAQC, health and safety, permit adherence, and reclamation.
- Ability to travel to the United States. Preference will be given to candidates with the ability to work in the United States.
