Role Description
We are seeking dedicated Security Guards for Special Events/Festivals throughout Manitoba. This is a part-time, on-site role where you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of attendees, staff, and property. Daily tasks include patrolling event areas, monitoring access points, enforcing rules and protocols, addressing security concerns, and providing excellent customer service to event guests. You will collaborate with event organizers and law enforcement,
if needed, to maintain safety and order.
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal Skills to manage relationships and communicate effectively
- Proficiency in Physical Security, Personnel Security, and Private Security techniques
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional Customer Service
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure or emergency situations
- Availability to work adaptable schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Completion of basic security guard training and valid security license is required
- Physically fit and capable of performing duties such as standing, walking, and conducting patrols for extended periods
- Previous experience in event security or related roles is an asset
