Our client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join their growing team in Mississauga. This role will support a dynamic manufacturing environment, partnering closely with leadership to drive HR initiatives that align with business objectives. You will be part of a collaborative HR team of approximately five professionals and play a key role in shaping employee experience, performance, and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing guidance on HR best practices, workforce planning, and organizational development
- Support day-to-day HR operations including employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation
- Coach and advise managers on employee engagement, conflict resolution, and talent development
- Lead and support HR initiatives such as change management, talent management, and succession planning
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment strategies and hiring needs
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to support data-driven decision-making
- Contribute to building and maintaining a positive workplace culture within a manufacturing setting
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience, ideally at the Business Partner level or above
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
