BGL Group Inc. is currently searching for an experienced Microsoft Infrastructure Consultant to provide expertise in designing and executing against a strategy for collecting and assessing key application business and technical requirements in preparation to perform an on premises to cloud migration. This skilled is equipped with knowledge of Microsoft RDS and AVD. This is a contract position between 6-12 months and will be working onsite at our client location in Eastern Ontario (Bellville area). There may be an option to convert to full-time employment after the initial contract period (not mandatory)

Role and Responsibility

- Work individually and within a team on the migration of on prem to cloud.
- Serve as liaison between end-users and consultants during mapping and migration process
- Expertly research and document client needs, technology, or regulations related to system design, enhancement, acquiring hardware or software that will impact multiple migrations - dependency mapping
- Document migration dependencies and implementation strategy
- Track completion of infrastructure tasks and report status to internal Program Leads
- Build and execute on the approved migration strategy





Knowledge and Experience

- Minimum 5 years’ experience of Microsoft Infrastructure
- Knowledge of RDS and AVD
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment where high client expectations exist
- Demonstrated desire to keep knowledge of Information Technology tools, products and trends up-to-date
- You must possess excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.

Education

· University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or related IT discipline is preferred
