Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst with strong technical expertise in UNIX, SQL, and ITSM processes. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting critical applications in a production environment, ensuring high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 application support for production systems
- Monitor applications and infrastructure using tools like ITRS
- Manage and troubleshoot batch jobs using Control-M
- Handle incidents, service requests, and problem tickets via Service Now
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
- Execute SQL queries for data validation and issue resolution
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation and support tasks
- Ensure adherence to ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams
- Provide timely updates and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
Essential Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in UNIX/Linux administration
- Proficiency in SQL (queries, troubleshooting, data analysis)
- Good understanding of ITSM processes
- Experience with monitoring tools (ITRS or similar)
