Shape the future of family well-being as a Prevention Focused Customary Care Supervisor. Lead a dedicated team to provide culturally grounded support and enhance the safety and resilience of children and youth.
This role involves daily supervision and guidance of Prevention Focused Customary Care Workers. You will coordinate service delivery, wellness planning, and ensure culturally sensitive resources are available. The supervisor will advocate for families involved with child welfare and develop individualized service plans, ensuring a nurturing setting for all participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coach Prevention Focused Customary Care Workers • Develop and implement family wellness/service plans • Advocate for rights of children and families at risk • Build partnerships with community members and service providers • Monitor program outcomes and support continuous improvement
Requirements: • Bachelor's in Social Work or related field preferred • Experience working in First Nation communities • Strong advocacy and case management skills • Valid Ontario G driver's license required • CPIC and Vulnerable Sector Check clearance needed
