Director of Sales - (Energy/power Generation)About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Director of Sales to lead and grow our sales team. This person will be responsible for driving revenue, expanding into new markets, and building strong relationships with customers in industries like power generation, oil & gas, data centers, and industrial sectors.

This is a leadership role where you will manage the full sales process—from developing new business to closing large deals—while also building and mentoring a high-performing team.

What You’ll Be DoingSales Leadership

- Create and execute a sales strategy to grow the business
- Build and lead a solid sales team
- Set goals and help the team hit revenue targets

Business Development

- Identify and win new customers and projects
- Grow existing accounts and build long-term relationships
- Work with partners, distributors, and EPC firms

Pipeline & Revenue Management

- Manage the sales pipeline and forecast revenue
- Track opportunities and ensure deals are moving forward
- Develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts

Technical Sales

- Review project specs, proposals, and customer requirements
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver the right solutions
- Ensure the team understands the products and how they work

Cross-Team Collaboration

- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams
- Work with marketing on messaging and campaigns
- Ensure smooth handoff from sales to project execution





Team Development

- Hire, train, and mentor sales team members
- Build a strong, accountable, and customer-focused culture

What We’re Looking ForRequired Experience

- 10+ years in technical sales or business development
- 5+ years leading a sales team
- Experience selling turbines (required)
- Background in power generation, oil & gas, or industrial equipment
- Proven success selling large, complex equipment or systems

Technical Knowledge

- Understanding of power systems, mechanical/electrical systems, or rotating equipment
- Experience working with RFPs, proposals, and technical specifications

Skills

- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset

Other Requirements

- Willingness to travel (up to 40–50%)
- Ability to work in both office and industrial environments
