Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical building systems
- Prepare drawings, layouts, and specifications using AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Support project teams through all phases,
including schematic design, detailed design, and construction administration
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, structural, and architectural consultants
- Perform basic calculations and assist with system sizing and equipment selection
- Attend site visits and support field reviews as required
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in mechanical design within a building consulting environment
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
- Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (OBC, ASHRAE, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to continue developing technically
