Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Data Analyst to lead advanced data initiatives and drive actionable insights across the organization. This role demands deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to work cross-functionally to translate complex data into meaningful business outcomes. This is a remote position open to candidates located in the CANADA.

Required Qualifications:





- Over 7+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and reporting.
- Advanced SQL Proficiency: Expert-level skills in SQL, including complex querying, stored procedures, and designing efficient database schemas to support analytical needs.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes to ensure data integrity and availability for analysis.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing principles, including dimensional modeling and star/snowflake schemas.
- Database Management: Proficient in working with relational databases, specifically SQL Server.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git for collaborative development.
- Strong Python programming skill is a big plus, with a focus on data manipulation, scripting, and automation using libraries like Pandas and Num Py.
- Data Visualization: Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create dashboards and reports.

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in place of formal education.
