Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $71,200 to $89,000 based on a 37.5-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

Why we'll love You:

- Post-secondary accounting or business training
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in full-cycle accounting is required, preferably in insurance brokerage accounting
- 2 years of people management experience is preferred
- Bonus: Experience with Acturis

- Oversee all activities of the Insurance Carrier Payables team
- Ensure that service level standards are met for insurance-related disbursements
- Handle monthly close of insurance payable processes
- Mentors, supports and supervises employees within the team.
- Assists the Manager, Insurance Carriers Payable with recruitment, performance reviews, training and development, and team engagement.
- Contribute your expertise in a variety of projects to improve our financial and accounting practices
- Always thinks customer first, build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
