Role Description
This is a full time, on-site role located in Vancouver, BC, for a Permitting and Community Engagement Coordinator. The role involves coordinating community engagement initiatives, organizing outreach efforts, and contributing to permitting activities. The Coordinator will liaise with stakeholders,
plan and manage events, ensure effective communication with local communities, and support the project team in ensuring compliance with regulatory and permitting requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Community Engagement and Community Outreach
- Proficiency in Community Organizing and Event Planning
- Excellent Communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Familiarity with provincial and federal permitting processes is an asset
- Ability to work collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Communications, or a related field is preferred
