Our challenge

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in capital markets to oversee and execute projects within our financial services organization. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of capital markets operations, regulations, and technology platforms.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Halifax, NS is CAD $80k – CAD $85k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

- Develop project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budget allocation.




- Coordinate project activities, tasks, and milestones, ensuring adherence to deadlines and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
- Manage project budget, expenses, and resource allocation effectively.

Requirements:

- 5 years of project management in project management within banking/FS.
- Solid Agile / Hybrid delivery experience.
- Experience managing technology or data-driven projects.
- Strong risk, dependency, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Preferred, but not required:

- Exposure to AI/ML or data analytics programs
- Certifications (PMP, Scrum, SAFe)
- Experience working in Capital Markets environments
