Do you enjoy assessing risk, working closely with brokers, and making informed underwriting decisions that support both customers and the organization? If you’re motivated by collaboration, continuous learning, and delivering a strong broker experience, we’d like to hear from you.

As an Underwriter I (Personal Lines Mono? Line), you’ll underwrite moderately complex personal lines insurance risks, assess and price new and existing business, and apply underwriting judgment within assigned authority. You’ll work with brokers and internal partners to explain decisions, negotiate terms, and support a customer?focused underwriting approach.

- Have experience underwriting personal lines property risks and assessing quotes, applications, and policy changes.
- Communicate confidently with brokers and partners to explain underwriting decisions and support positive relationships.
- Bring robust analytical skills and sound judgment when interpreting policy wordings and evaluating risk.
- Value continuous learning and demonstrate leadership by supporting colleagues and contributing to a high?performing, accountable team.

Typically, these skills are gained through a two-year diploma in a relevant field of study such as Business, or defined equivalency, and 1 – 2 years of experience in personal property underwriting.
