Position: Full Stack Developer

Duration: 6‑month assignment (Contract)

Client Location: 250 Yonge St., 20th Floor Toronto ON M5B2N8 Canada (Hybrid – 2–3 days per week on‑site)

About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking the services of an experienced Full Stack Developer – Lead to join a high‑performing technology team. This role is ideal for a hands‑on technical leader with deep Java full‑stack expertise who can guide development teams in an onshore‑offshore model while delivering scalable, cloud‑based solutions.

The successful consultant will combine strong technical depth with leadership, communication, and knowledge‑sharing capabilities in a modern Agile environment.

Services to be Provided

- Lead the design, development, and delivery of full‑stack applications using Angular, Java/Spring, NodeJS/Type Script, and AWS.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams across onshore and offshore locations.
- Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
- Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Java (1.8+), Spring, and cloud‑native patterns.
- Build and maintain modern front‑end applications using Angular (v12 through v18).
- Develop and deploy cloud solutions on AWS, including Lambda and related services.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, Dev Ops, and QA teams to ensure high‑quality delivery.
- Support Agile/SCRUM ceremonies and manage multiple workstreams and priorities.
- Promote knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and strong team communication.





Expertise Required

- 10+ years of hands‑on Java Full Stack development experience.
- Proven experience leading development teams in an onshore‑offshore delivery model.
- Strong expertise in:
- Angular (minimum v12, up to latest v18)
- Java (minimum 1.8) and Spring ecosystem
- NodeJS and Type Script
- AWS, with Lambda experience required
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder interaction skills.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor team members and drive effective knowledge sharing.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Spring Boot, NodeJS, AWS CDK, Fargate, and Microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with APIs and integration technologies: REST/JSON, SOAP/XML, Swagger, OpenAPI, Kafka, Redux, OAuth.
- Exposure to cloud and Dev Ops tools and concepts: Open Shift, Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Ansible, Git Hub.
- Comfortable working in an Agile/SCRUM environment with changing priorities.
- AWS Developer or AWS Architect Skilled certification.
